"Mark did an outstanding job on our front and back yard. Due to COVID-19, we changed our wedding plans and decided to get some landscaping done in order to have a small backyard wedding. Initially, our yard was overrun with weeds and dead trees with deep roots. Mark sketched us a design that included all plant options, met with us to discuss the plan, and was very honest with timing and fair with pricing. In a matter of 6 weeks, Mark transformed our yard into the Garden of Eden! He was patient and insightful and had excellent suggestions for planting and placement. He worked efficiently and kept us in the loop at every turn. He incorporated our ideas beautifully and also added nice touches throughout the yard. Mark also designed and built a small pond with a waterfall that quickly became the highlight of the backyard. We chose to get married right next to the pond and all of our virtual guests were in awe. He even came back a few weeks after the job was completed to answer questions and give additional maintenance tips. Even in this latest heat wave (90+ degrees), he spent 8 hours each weekday in our yard. "The previous owner of my home planted a tree almost on top of the septic tank. The 25 year old tree is now 25 feet tall and the septic tank which is buried 6 feet underground and had never been serviced properly was backing up. I called J.V. Harrison at 9:00pm on a Saturday and they showed up bright and early on Sunday morning. They were a pleasure to work with and were very careful to do minimal damage to the yard and the tree. After excavating the area, they cleared the obstruction in the pipe (25 years of grease ... yuk) and pumped the tank. Then they installed a riser and refilled the excavated area so the tank can be serviced easily and properly in the future. They were finished before noon and I was able to enjoy the rest of my Sunday knowing that an issue that had concerned me for years was finally taken care of. I would absolutely recommend them if you are in need of septic tank services."
