"Alex and his crew were fantastic. He found a way to work within my budget and get my landscaping ready to put my house on the market. I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and classy he was able to make it look with such a small budget. I highly recommend them for any of your landscaping projects and needs!!"

"High quality service at a fair price. Raphael was on time & did a great job! The rollers on my sliding door were broken & they were replaced in 45 minutes. Most door companies only want to replace the door or the glass, but very few want to repair / replace the rollers. Will definitely use RC Windows & Doors for future window / door repairs or replacements."

"We had a complicated flooring job because our foundation settled pretty hard. Ricky and his team installed our hardwood floors and they did a fantastic job. The floors are absolutely gorgeous and a joy to walk on despite the difficulties they had to overcome. Ricky is super communicative and responsive and kept us updated on everything he did. Very pleased with their work and would hire again!"

"We have been trying to fix an exterior wall leak for over 5 years. We are so thrilled that Cerratos Construction has figured out how to fix it. They were the only company out of several we contacted that had a plan right away, got back to me with a quote, and were ready to get started immediately. I have been very pleased with their customer service as Freddie always answered my calls or got back to me within the hour. It was so nice to find a company that does high quality work as, in my experience, that has been very hard to find. I highly recommend using them and plan on doing so again in the future."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
